This monograph is the product of a National Seminar on Mahatma Gandhi, organized on the occasion of his 150th birth anniversary in 2020 by Council for Political Studies in collaboration with the Department of Political Science, Presidency University. It contains four presentations made by-

Manoranjan Mohanty: Former Professor of Political Science, Delhi University and distinguished Professor , Council for Social Development, New Delhi.

Supriya Munshi: A distinguished Gandhi Scholar, former Director-Secretary of Gandhi Museum, Barrackpore. Professional Fellow, Consultant, Gandhian Studies and Executive Director , Jaya Prakash Institute of Social Change, Kolkata.

Tapan Kumar Chattopadhyay: Former Professor of Political Science, University of Calcutta and a reputed Gandhi scholar.

Abdus Samad Gayen: Associate Professor and Head, Department of Political Science, Presidency University and a well-known researcher on Gandhi.
